Around the house

I am going to try and take more pictures and post more often. I've slacked on my picture taking with the little guys!!

This is them playing school. I believe they were both teachers, and their students are in the chairs behind them. (the monkey and the dinosaur)

This is what occurred a mere 10 minutes before bedtime. They were playing super hero or monsters or something. Fabulous. Cody even had a mustache. And he came in about 5 minutes later, AFTER we told them not to do anymore, with a complete beard. We scrubbed a bit with a washcloth, but he's going to school today with a minor mustache. Oh well, at least it's something for show and tell!
The damage on Blake wasn't as bad. At least he stuck to the extremities. Note the McDonald's headset on Blake. Hopefully not a sign of his future occupation.

And just FYI, Cody picks out his own pj's. If it were up to me, he WOULD match.

Alabama/Florida trip

Ok folks...lots of pictures coming!
We made the 11 hour drive to Birmingham last Friday to visit my brother Ryan and his family. We are trying to make this a yearly trip to go to the beach. Brandie's parents have a house in Gulf Shores so it's a great place to meet. This year Brandie timed Wallace's baptism with us going down so we could be there...and because yours truly is precious Wallace's godmother.
We had a fantastic time. Went by too fast as usual, but we'll see them again for Thanksgiving!!

Blake and Cody posing before the baptism. Note Cody's GQ stance? This is his new thing. So funny.

The boys with cousin Cecelia. She loves them.

Me with Mr Wallace.

The priest pouring the Holy Water on Wallace's head. He whimpered a little but overall did fantastic!! Such a good baby.

The Hunter clan

Cody and Wallace...the boys loved "baby Wallace"

We went to Gulf Shores on Sunday. The big boys went on a fishing expedition Monday, and then we hit the FloraBama that night.

On Tuesday we hit the beach!! The boys had been 2 other times when we visited--at age 10 months and 2 1/2. Obviously at those ages they couldn't really enjoy the beach and waves. But they LOVED it. They ran and jumped the waves forever!

Cody buried himself in sand. He buried me too, but we didn't get a picture.

Blake and Uncle Ryan playing in the waves.

Miss Cecelia playing in the sand. She would have nothing to do with the ocean, and played contently in the sand the whole time we were there! Wallace stayed at the house with my mom.

Precious little Wallace. He is definitely going to be big like his Daddy!! He's 10 months old and weighs 27 pounds! And he wears 18-24 month clothes. But he is such a sweet baby.

Silly cousins

Sunset at the house.

We had such a good time and can't wait to go again next year!!

4th of July at Lake Limestone

We made the trip to Lake Limestone for a long 4th of July weekend. Troy, Jennifer, Morgan, Taylor, Collin, and Nandy and Papaw all spent the weekend with us. The boys, as usual, had a great time together. Trish let us use her big blow up slide so that occupied them most of the time.

Cody, Collin, and Blake...they look so innocent

Every 4th of July the neighbors at the lake have a big parade. Everyone decorates their golf carts, 4 wheelers or mules and we parade around the area. It was SO hot, but the boys were troopers.

Playing on Trish's blow up slide.

Blake, Collin, & Morgan on the slip n slide.

One of the families that live on the lake has started doing a HUGE fireworks show on the 4th. It is so awesome, and comparable to one major cities put on, in my opinion. Usually we sit out in the lake for it, but this year she also hosted a huge picnic, and we got literally front row seats!! This is one of two golf carts full of fireworks.
Cody and Blake with their glow stick jewelry!

All the cousins, minus Kylee. Morgan, Taylor, Collin, Blake, and Cody
The boys...cool picture!

And the awesome fireworks!

Visit to Lake Whitney

We went to Whitney to visit a friend of Tadd's from when he worked in Waco. They have an awesome place out in the country with lots of land. They have an above ground pool that they have built a deck around, with a big bar and bbq pit. It's so nice!! We had a great time and the boys loved showing off their new swimming skills!!

Daddy and Blakey

Daddy and Cody--note the similarities...red shirt, sunglasses on head...Cody loves to look just like Tadd. He'll put on the same color shirt, wear a belt, watch, put his wallet in his pocket. So sweet.

Lake Conroe Visit

All the kids...Cody, Averi, Kade, and Blake

We went to Lake Conroe to visit some friends of ours. Kort and Mandi actually went to high school with me; Kort was Ryan's best friend, and they are high school sweethearts. They live up in Plano, but we only see each other maybe once a year. They invited us down for the weekend and we had a great time!

Cody with his shades on the boat. There was actually a McDonalds on the lake that was accessible by boat. The boys LOVED that.

To top off a good weekend, on Saturday a group of people hanging out near us told us they kept finding money floating in the water. We started feeling around and we started feeling paper by our feet, which turned out to be $20 bills!!! The bulk of our afternoon was spent shuffling along the bottom of Lake Conroe searching for money. I think between the four of us, we found about $300!! Crazy.
