We went out to Lake Limestone for Memorial Day weekend. They boys had a blast playing with all the cousins, and were exhausted when we got home! The highlight of the weekend for ME, however, was meeting the newest addition to the Crosslin clan, Miss Addyson Sage Wietzikoski. She was born May 27 to Trish and Jordan and is absolutely perfect!!!
A friend of ours had a snake guy come to his 6th birthday party! He brought about 10 different snakes and told us all about them. It was a lot of fun and very educational. Blake hung around and pet some of the snakes, but Cody high-tailed it upstairs once it was petting time!!
We had a great t-ball season this year. The team we were on had great kids and great parents, and our coaches were fantastic. They genuinely cared about the kids and wanted them to have FUN, not just learn baseball. The boys grew a lot this season, and you can see a huge difference between the beginning of the season and now. Next season is coach pitch!! Go A's!!! Fyi...Cody is #6, black helmet and Blake is #7, red helmet
The boys asked a few times about riding a two wheeler, so we finally bit the bullet and did it! We had tried last summer, but they didn't show much interest so I gave up. They both did super well, and were very brave! We loaded up on protective gear, and came out with only one major scrape!! Now we have two official bike riders!!!
This is a video of Blake soon after he became independent!!
Kindergarten field day was a blast!! The weather was great. It was warm but overcast. The kids did karaoke, dancing in the gym, water balloons, races, and of course, tug o' war!!! We all had a really good time.
Mr Cool Man Cody dancing in the gym--that's his teacher Ms Gardner behind him. He adores her! She calls him Cody Poo...but don't tell him I told you that!!
Blake and some of his classmates
The boys and their buddies...Cody, Jacob, Noah, and Blake
My two tug o' war winners! Blake's class got 2nd place, Cody's got 3rd.
