Jumping party!!

We went to a cool place today called "Pump it up". It's basically a big gym with the biggest bounce houses you could imagine. There were 6 in all, and they were really cool! We played for a hour and a half, and the boys had a great time!!
(Mom had fun too...although I walked away with a plastic burn on my elbow).

Swimming!

A friend of mine from work graciously allowed a couple of us and our kiddos to go swim at her pool yesterday! It was so nice and the boys had a blast, especially Cody! He had us "catching" him jumping off the edge all afternoon. Blakey was content to just hang on to us and let us do all the swimming!

Helping Dad!

As you've seen, the boys love helping Daddy do yard work. On Sunday they helped Daddy spray weeds in the front yard. Cody was really into it, and was able to tell what was weeds and what was grass! Blake just sprayed everything! And yes, we washed hands and took a bath as soon as we were done.

Vegas baby!!

Tadd and I went to Vegas last week to help celebrate Troy and Jennifer's 10 year wedding anniversary. It was my first visit there and Tadd's first since he was a kid. We stayed at New York New York and had a lot of fun. We saw the Cirque de Soleil show "KA", which was super cool, visited Fremont Street, rode a roller coaster, went to Coyote Ugly and of course, gambled. We didn't end up too much in the hole...lost about what we expected, but had fun doing it!

Kylee's birthday party

While we were in Vegas the boys got to hang out with Nandy and Papaw (to whom we are forever grateful). The day we came back Kylee had her 8th birthday party and Trish got a huge inflatable waterslide!!! Needless to say the kids had a blast! Nandy and Papaw said the boys took a while to warm up to it, but as you can see, they ended up riding it like champs. We were sad we missed it!

trip to the dallas aquarium!!

A couple of the girls and I from work took all the kiddos to the Dallas Aquarium a few weeks ago. It was really a cool place, and the kids had a good time!! Lots of different fish and animals... even a tiger at the end. Kind of random for an aquarium, but the kids liked it!!

My own personal yard crew...

When I pulled onto the street when I came home from work today, I was greeted by my two little guys in their hard hats, helping Dad do yard work. Cody swept while Blake held the dustpan and emptied grass into the trashcan. They were both sweaty and dirty, but so happy to be helping Dad work!

Let's mow for Dad...

Yesterday I went out to the backyard to find the boys "cutting" the grass with their little tools. Cody has some pliers and Blake had a saw, and they were walking around the yard cutting the grass! So cute. Such sweet little boys. They just wanted to help out Daddy!!

Black-eye Blakey

Our little toot had a mishap at daycare the other day. He was jumping and slipped on a toy, and hit his eye on a toybox. Hence, the first black eye of his life. (And maybe, if I'm lucky, his last). He's been really good about it. I'm sure he squalled quite a bit when it happened, but since then, he's handled it like a trooper. Says his eye is "all fixed".

Weekend at the lake!

We went out to Lake Limestone this past weekend to celebrate our 7th anniversary with some friends of ours. We had a lot of fun and the boys really enjoyed riding on the boat!!

It's summertime!!

We got the boys a little pool this weekend for days I don't feel like lugging everything to the neighborhood pool! They are just as happy with this one. Here they are playing in it this afternoon. I also put a picture of our new patio cover!! We had it done yesterday, and it looks fantastic! I can't wait to get new furniture for it and make it pretty!!
