Ryan and Brandie's visit

Ryan, Brandie and the kids came to visit for a week in July. As usual we had a blast, and as the kids get older they have more and more fun together. We did lots of swimming and playing. The kids had fun too. ;) As usual the visit was too short, but we'll see then again in November for Turkey day!

Trouble from the moment they got there!!

Love this pic of Wallace and Cody.

Father's Day

Tadd's parents came to visit for Father's Day and we took them and my mom to Texas de Brazil. It was the boys' first time there also and they actually ate pretty well. We were all stuffed as usual but had a good time.
Three generations

Yum....cake!!!

The boy must always have his picture taken.

Swim lessons

The boys took swim lessons again this summer at the local Natatorium. They have improved so much from last year and are actually becoming pretty good little swimmers. I am considering putting them in another session to improve and keep their skills. I wouldn't mind having a couple of little swimmers!!

Cody doing freestyle I believe.

Learning to dive.

Joe Pool Lake

My friend Kim invited us out for the day at Joe Pool Lake. Her brother has a sweet boat and we hung out for a few hours swimming. Kim and her husband have jet skis and Tadd took the boys out on a ride. They loved it!!

Super cool Cody

Memorial Day weekend

We went out to Lake Limestone for Memorial Day weekend. They boys had a blast playing with all the cousins, and were exhausted when we got home! The highlight of the weekend for ME, however, was meeting the newest addition to the Crosslin clan, Miss Addyson Sage Wietzikoski. She was born May 27 to Trish and Jordan and is absolutely perfect!!!

Snake party!

A friend of ours had a snake guy come to his 6th birthday party! He brought about 10 different snakes and told us all about them. It was a lot of fun and very educational. Blake hung around and pet some of the snakes, but Cody high-tailed it upstairs once it was petting time!!

T-ball

We had a great t-ball season this year. The team we were on had great kids and great parents, and our coaches were fantastic. They genuinely cared about the kids and wanted them to have FUN, not just learn baseball. The boys grew a lot this season, and you can see a huge difference between the beginning of the season and now. Next season is coach pitch!! Go A's!!!
Fyi...Cody is #6, black helmet and Blake is #7, red helmet

We can ride 2 wheelers!!

The boys asked a few times about riding a two wheeler, so we finally bit the bullet and did it! We had tried last summer, but they didn't show much interest so I gave up. They both did super well, and were very brave! We loaded up on protective gear, and came out with only one major scrape!! Now we have two official bike riders!!!

This is a video of Blake soon after he became independent!!

Field Day!!

Kindergarten field day was a blast!! The weather was great. It was warm but overcast. The kids did karaoke, dancing in the gym, water balloons, races, and of course, tug o' war!!! We all had a really good time.

Mr Cool Man Cody dancing in the gym--that's his teacher Ms Gardner behind him. He adores her! She calls him Cody Poo...but don't tell him I told you that!!
