A few pics and a video.

Just thought I'd post some pictures and a little video. Click here to see it. A few pics from the park today and one of Cody with a hairless Daddy!! It's hard to believe that their 3rd birthday is a month from tomorrow!!! How is it possible? Even worse, I'll be 30 in 3 weeks!!! Things are good. We're looking forward to the holidays. The boys will be Buzz and Woody from Toy Story this year. Their birthday party will be Thomas the Train...their newest obsession. Still working on the potty training...slow and steady wins the race, right?

A couple of pics since it's been a while

Nothing much new to report. We're treading along with the potty training. Tee-tee'ing is going well, but we've hit a wall with the poop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! The pic of the boys in their tshirts are them modeling their shirts from Nandy and Papaw. They were very proud to be wearing them. The others are a few from Labor Day weekend at the lake. Blake hanging out with the guys, watching football on the dock.

Weekend trip to Houston

We went to Houston this weekend to visit Grandma and Grandpa (my dad and his wife). We had a really good time! Spent lots of time in Grandpa's pool, which just made me want one even more. Surprisingly, Cody was the daredevil. For whatever reason, he's brave when it comes to water, and Blake is the tentative one. Blake spent most of the weekend "relaxing" in the hot tub with Grandma, while Cody practiced jumping off the side and swimming!! He's such a little water baby! He is doing really well at kicking, and is starting to coordinate moving his arms in the water too! I'm including a link of him "swimming" at the bottom of this post.
Cody can swim!!

KD playdate

The boys and I got together with some of my sorority sisters and their kids last week for a playdate. It was great to see all the kiddos playing together. There were 7 in all, including another pair of twins! Stephanie and her daughter made crowns for everyone, and the boys are still wearing theirs around the house. I had to bribe Cody and tell him it was his birthday crown, and now he's telling everyone it's his birthday. Whatever works, right? We had a great time. Thanks again Brandy for hosting us!!!

Out to the lake.

Hello hello! It's been a busy summer, and Mommy's been bad about taking pics and posting them. Here are a few from a couple of weeks ago when we went out to the lake here by our house with some friends of ours and their little girl. It was super windy, so we didn't do much as far as tubing and such, but it was nice to get out there and the boys had a great time. As you can see, Cody took some time out for some sunbathing.

Family

After a fantastic trip for Tadd and I to Mexico, we all headed to Waco for the weekend for Kylee's bday. Trish rented a huge inflatable water slide, and all the kids had a great time (even the big kids).
**UPDATE**
Back to real life post Cancun. The boys are loving their new daycare. They constantly ask to go to "Shawn's house" and we are so grateful that we found her. They are still amazing us daily. Cody is quite the independent, and pretty bossy too! Blake is still, well...he's Blakey!! They are just so precious.
I'll try and get some more updates in soon. Hope this pacifies you all for a bit though!!!

love, Court

4th of July

Better late than never right? We spent 4th of July, as usual, out at the lakehouse. The boys had a fantastic time. We went out on the lake and watched an awesome firework show one of the neighbors put on. It was really neat. We were literally 100 yards away from where they were setting them off. Gotta love country livin'.

Here's the link. Click here.

Just a few pics...

Nothing new to update really...but I know it's been a while since I've added some new pics, and I hate to deprive the waiting public, so here's a few from the other day. I was able to briefly get them to actually sit next to each other for a pic. Now of course, that doesn't guarantee smiles, but at least I have them together!!

busy summer days!

We've been on the go since we got back from Florida. Things are going great. The boys started their new day care on June 5. It's a home day care, and it's just down the road from us. So far it has been absolutely fantastic. Shawn is wonderful. She's just quit working as a CPA to stay home with her kids, and is watching a few others to help bring in some money. Cody and Blake are 2 of 6 kids now, instead of 2 of 20+, and they absolutely LOVE going now. They ask to go to Shawn's house on my days off!! It's definitely been a blessing.
This past week we started hard core serious potty training!! Cody has really resisted (I'm scared, I can't, etc) so I'm going to lay off him a bit and try again in about a week. Blake has done fantastic! We're on day four, and he's not telling us when he has to go yet, but if we ask, he'll go sit on the potty and go! Only one accident in the past 2 days. He hasn't started pooping on the potty yet, but we'll get there! One day at a time, right?
Sorry no pics this time, but I'm including a video below of a "typical" evening at home!
Happy Father's Day!!

See us play!

Our Florida Trip!

We went to Perdido Key, Florida this past week to visit Uncle Ryan and Aunt Brandie, and our new cousin Cecelia, Mimi, Aunt Jessica and Uncle BJ, and all of Aunt Bran's family. Once again the Wallace's put up with the "Hunter" clan for almost a week, and we had a blast!
The boys LOVED the beach!!! They wouldn't go near the waves, but had a great time in the little tidal pool I found, and playing in the sand. Blake had a grand time driving Mr Bill's boat, and they even got to go kayaking with Daddy and Uncle Ryan. Mommy got some much needed R&R on the beach, and we all had a fantastic time.
More pics to follow below!!

Eureka! I think we've turned a corner...

I hesitate to even post this, and I fear I'm jinxing myself, so please knock on any wood you have nearby as you read! The past 5 days, the boys have slept "late" (ie, past 6:15 am!). A few days we've gone to 6:45, and today it was 7:30!!!! I don't know what it is, but I'm not complaining! We thought the first 2 days they were still recuperating from Six Flags, but I don't think it takes a week to recup! Praise the Lord, they've discovered the joy of sleep!!!

More six flags pics!

First trip to Six Flags!!

We took the boys to Six Flags this past weekend with their Aunt Trish and Jordan and Kylee. We were a little nervous to see how they'd do, but they did great!!! We got there at 11 am and left at 6 pm!! Such little troopers!! They got to ride 2 choo choo trains, some swings, hot air balloons, airplanes, big trucks, the yosemite sam boat ride and the log ride!! We'll probably be getting season passes now, because they're free until they're three!! Lots of pics, so I'll continue them in a new post!
