Mud Run!!

A few of my sorority sisters and I did the Mud Run in April.  For those that don't know, it's a 10K military style obstacle course...in the mud.  I did it 2 years ago with my friend Shannon, and let me tell you, as it's gained popularity, it's gotten harder!!!!

Unfortunately, we only made it to the 5k mark, because on the cargo nets in the picture below, our comrade Jen fell from about halfway up and had to be taken via ambulance to the hospital.  She is doing fine now, but her back was hurting pretty bad after her fall.  Definitely makes you realize that while this is a fun event, you can't play around!!!  There were a LOT of people in the ER from Mud Run!!

Can you tell the water was a wee bit chilly?

I brought 2 waterproof cameras to try and get some pics along the way.  I love how this one came out...if only it were a bit less muddy!!
